Week 7 All Grades

Hello Northwest Families!!!
Well, this is our last week together before our summer break begins. I hope you have enjoyed the videos I have made for you and I hope they have helped you to improve your fitness level, your skill abilities and most of all I hope you had fun doing them!!!

I thought a good plan for this last week would be to
provide links to all of the videos I did, here in one spot so you can continue to do them over the summer. I also wanted to re-provide the activities (bingo choose board and some other optional movement ideas)  that were sent out prior to me beginning  these videos.

I miss seeing everyone and can’t wait to get back to the gym and continue on teaching you all about moving, fitness, nutrition and the joy moving and good fitness can bring you!!! Continue to do these videos over the summer and I will see you soon!!!

Week 5 Lesson All Grades

Week 5 Activity ( May 18-22)

Hello Northwest families,
I hope everyone is doing well!

Here is our physical education activity for week 5

Win It In a Minute!!!

Materials needed:
4 cones or 4 other objects you can lay out and foot dribble a ball in and out of

1 soccer ball or another ball of similar size

Set Up:
For challenge 1: Space out 4 cones (or other objects) in a straight line.
For challenge 2: Take your cones (or objects) and push them together to make a target to hit with your ball (you will kick your ball and try to hit the cones.

Activity:  Variuos skill challenges to be completed in 1 minute.

Week 4 Lesson All Grades

Materials needed:
Safe large space to perform various exercises. Some of the exercises included are: running in place, plank holds, jump and spins etc...

Set Up:

Activity:  Variuos exercises to maintain and build muscle strength and muscle endurance!!!

A space to practice moving

Set Up:

Activity:  Watch the video. Take the time to relearn each skill. Take what you have learned and practice these skills in a safe open area. Teach these skill to a family member or guardian/ parent!!!

Here is our physical education activity for week 3

Foot Dribble and a Super Bonus Skill!!!


Materials needed:
I soccer ball (or any ball to kick)
5 cones/ items to place in a line, spread out so that you can foot dribble a ball in and out of them 

Set Up:

1) 5 cones/ items placed in a line, spread out so that you can foot dribble a ball in and out of them.

Activity:

In one minute how many times can you foot in and out of each cone (down and back)? Down and back equals one time.
